Location: Remote Pay Rate: $52-$85/hour Position Type: Long-Term Contract

Position Overview

System One is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support complex engineering projects by coordinating design activities, managing engineering schedules, tracking project performance, and facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for a project professional with experience supporting engineering organizations, project controls, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers by monitoring project progress, tracking key metrics, and preparing status reports.
  • Coordinate engineering design activities across multiple project teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed engineering schedules and resource forecasts.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manage schedule updates, task sequencing, milestones, and engineering resource planning.
  • Coordinate schedule changes with project controls and engineering leadership.
  • Track project deliverables and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Support engineering work planning, procurement schedules, and cross-functional project execution.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for project leadership using data-driven analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • 4+ years of project coordination or project management experience supporting engineering projects.
  • Strong experience with project scheduling, resource planning, and project reporting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and project performance metrics.
  • Experience with Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
