Job Title: International Shipping Coordinator /Trade & Transportation Specialist
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Hours/Week: 40
Work Location: 100% Remote
Job Description:
The Trade & Transportation Specialist role is responsible for local import/export operations. This role assists the performance and smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations. This position can work from one of our US facilities, home office or under a hybrid work arrangement.
  • SAP Access - Familiar with looking up:
  • PO #'s, DO #'s, SO #'s
  • Cross Reference Handling Unit 2 Field
  • Freight Exception Queue Management
  • Identify the plant assigned for freight bills that do not auto-code based on logic parameters
  • Use identified information to select the correct General Ledger account and apply to the invoice
  • Cross reference carrier documents or carrier websites to help with #2
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading, References, and Locations to find the correct code
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in facilitating import/ export shipments and transportation compliance including hands on experience in SAP and with freight and carrier document management
  • Strong oral and written communication in English with problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Must have an Associates degree
