**This is a remote position.
Description
The primary purpose of this position is to provide financial management for the NC Health Information Exchange Authority (NC HIEA), including its federal financial participation programs with the NC DHHS Division of Health Benefits and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Monitor organizational spending to ensure alignment with the approved budget with aspecific focus on Medicaid-related programs. Assist with expense projections and provide regular updates to leadership.
Assist with federal and private grant management, ensuring compliance with requirements and maintaining accurate financial records.
Work with program and project managers to develop and manage the organization's budget. Ensure alignment with operational and policy objectives and state and federal regulations in collaboration with the NC HIEA Executive Director and NCDITBudget Office.
Analyze spending and revenue trends to identify cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities. Perform cost-benefit analyses for federal partners and potential service vendors.
Support the development and implementation of health care provider financial supports for HIE Medicaid services and cost recovery models for specific services.
