About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Assistance Counselor II (PAC) to support patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing high out-of-pocket medical and prescription expenses. This role is integral to helping patients access specialty medications through a patient assistance program, ensuring compassionate and efficient service to both patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers regarding specialty prescriptions.
  • Review and process patient applications, including insurance investigations and financial assessments.
  • Communicate outcome statuses clearly and professionally to patients and providers.
  • Maintain compliance with all program guidelines and confidentiality standards.
Hours
  • Will be ASSIGNED a shift between 7:00am-7:00pm CST Mon-Fri - Candidates do not get to pick their shifts
Requirements
  • Insurance verification and prior authorization expertise (5+ years)
  • Experience with working denied claims for commercial and government payors (5+ years)
  • Call center experience (5+ years).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A secure, private location to work from daily with fast and secure internet access.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
