Job description

Victory Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamo Technologies. Victory Solutions is a Small Disadvantaged Business providing quality technical and engineering services to NASA, the DoD, Industry and academia.
We are accepting resumes for Configuration and Data Management Specialist levels 2-4 on the MSFC CDM contract located at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with MSFC project personnel and personnel at other NASA centers to implement all aspects of the CM and DM functions for Program/Project/Element Offices.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on the establishment of CM and DM processes for Program /Project/Element Offices.
  • Participate in the maintenance of the CM and/or DM Plans following MSFC guidelines.
  • Perform the Configuration Status Accounting function utilizing tools such as ACCESS, Jira database or Excel spreadsheets.
  • Work with project personnel to coordinate review processes to ensure completeness of products prior to presentation to the control board.
  • Perform the Records Management function for projects.
  • Support the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) team in CDM related process implementation relative to the project change management function and data deliverables exchange and storage.
  • Maintain work instructions in support of the CM and DM processes.
  • Manage access to data and work areas in electronic tools and libraries.
  • Support the management of data deliverables, configuration related data items as well as other project data.
  • Support technical meetings including action tracking, presentation chart development, and uploading required meeting data.
  • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ITAR and other export control or proprietary contractor data following NASA and MSFC requirements and guidelines.

Job Specifications:
  • For CM4 positions: Bachelor's degree and 18 years of applicable experience is required, or Associate's degree and 20 years' experience, High School Diploma and 22 additional years' experience. A MS degree may be used to substitute for 3 years' experience.
  • For CM3 positions: Bachelor's degree and 10 years of applicable experience required, or Associate's degree and 12 years' experience, High School Diploma and 14 additional years' experience. A MS degree may be used to substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • For CM2 positions: Bachelor's degree desired, or Associate's degree and 2 years' experience, or High School Diploma and at least 4 years of applicable Configuration/Data Management experience desired to include management of baselines, operation of project control boards, and/or configuration status accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of managing technical data in automated CDM tools is required.
  • Experience with CDM functions such as change management, configurations status accounting, utilizing tools for change and action tracking, and development of agendas and minutes is required.
  • Experience with Windchill, Jira, SharePoint or other data storage systems usage required.
  • Recent experience performing CM and DM functions on MSFC Programs/Projects/Elements is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and ACCESS (or similar database) is highly desired.
  • Experience with handling sensitive data is desired.
  • Professional CDM certification such as National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) CDM certification or equivalent is desired.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain clearance/access onsite at NASA MSFC is required (requires a STAR ID for badging).
  • US Citizenship required.
