Job description

DAG Architects is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Proposal Manager to support business acquisition efforts within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry. This role is responsible for leading the development of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and presentation materials while ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
The ideal candidate is an experienced proposal professional with strong writing, editing, graphic coordination, and project management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time, in-person position based in either our Atlanta or Tallahassee office. DAG Architects is committed to fostering a collaborative and engaging workplace culture where team members can connect, contribute, and grow professionally.
Primary Responsibilities
Proposal & SOQ Management
  • Lead the development, coordination, editing, and production of SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and proposal submissions.
  • Prepare materials for both digital and print reproduction, including final packaging and delivery.
  • Ensure all proposals meet submission requirements and compliance standards.
  • Maintain proposal schedules, deadlines, tracking systems, and pursuit status updates.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party proposal writing or production consultants as needed.
  • Gather content, resumes, project information, and supporting materials from internal teams and consultants.
  • Prepare written and visual materials for client presentations and interviews.
  • Implement and maintain firm brand standards across all proposal and presentation materials.

Research & Business Development Support
  • Monitor industry-related market information and procurement opportunities.
  • Conduct research related to clients, competitors, target markets, and relevant corporate experience.
  • Track pre-submittal meetings, attendee information, and key decision-makers.
  • Record and distribute meeting notes from pre-submittal and public-sector meetings.
  • Support business development efforts through market research and strategic proposal coordination.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and procurement requirements to ensure compliant responses.

Asset & Content Management
  • Maintain and organize databases and content libraries for:
  • Prior proposals and SOQs
  • Boilerplate text
  • Project visuals and graphics
  • Client and consultant information
  • Personnel resumes and qualifications
  • Mailing and contact lists
  • Contribute to ongoing data entry and management within asset management systems, including OpenAsset.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Advanced proficiency in:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
  • OpenAsset
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Office Suite
