Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for planning component and packaging production to improve efficiencies and meet target dates.
  • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, schedule and execute production materials to meet established delivery dates for assigned work centers utilizing the manufacturing information system while supporting the operational plan.
  • Analyze and plan raw inventories for assigned work centers to meet corporate objectives utilizing forecast and/or firm work orders and communicate with purchasing to avoid 'stock out' situations.
  • Participate in 'new product introduction' with engineering
  • Place/expedite/follow up on purchase orders as required
  • Perform inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Monitor exceptions (backorder and overstocks) and resolve as quickly as practical using multiple techniques.
  • Work proactively with Purchasing and Production Managers to identify 'critical path items' and suggest alternatives accordingly.
  • Participate on special project teams and other duties as assigned
  • Generate and implement ideas to improve efficiency, save cost or improve service Generate Intercompany PO's
  • Create Work Order in the ERP system, print and delivery any needed documentation.
  • Maintain and respond to planning messages in the ERP System
  • Complete in a timely manner any other task assigned by the Planning Manager
  • Collaborate with Validations and Remediation
  • Coordinate the manufacturing of validation and engineering jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent along with 1-2 years' experience in production control and /or material planning within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access experience desired.
Solid understanding of MRP with the ability to apply concepts to the business model.
Team player, ability to adapt quickly, strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve.
Familiarity with metal and plastic commodities, components and services a plus
