Job Type: Full Time
Shift: 8:00 to 4:30, Monday - Friday
Expected Hours: 40+
Our client is an industrial process equipment manufacturer, and they are currently looking to bring on a Assistant Production Manager. This role will support the coordination, organization, and oversight of all production activities.
- Coordinate, organize, and track daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Serve as the central point of intake for all sales orders and production jobs, ensuring accurate documentation and routing.
- Monitor progress of work orders and follow up with production teams to maintain schedules.
- Collaborate with machine shop and fabrication staff to verify requirements, materials, and timelines.
- Assist in shop floor scheduling, capacity planning, MRP & Order Point.
3+ years of production planning exp
ERP systems knowledge (Sage Mass 100 Preferred)
Previous planning experience in a machine or fab shop environment is required
APICS - CPIM Certification (Preferred)
Basic understanding of engineering drawings & bill of materials
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
