Experience: Strong experience in production planning specifically within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.

We are excited to share a new opportunity for a Supply Chain Production Planner in Kennesaw, GA!


Summary: As the Supply Chain Production Planner, you will be responsible for the primary scheduling and coordination of manufacturing activities within the warehouse environment. You will bridge the gap between demand and execution by utilizing both digital systems and manual planning tools to ensure seamless production flow and material availability.

Supply Chain Production Planner Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of finished goods.
  • Manage planning activities through manual tracking via complex Excel spreadsheets.
  • Review, analyze, and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and multi-level BOM structures to ensure production accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to monitor inventory levels and resolve material shortages.
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules dynamically to account for delays, equipment failures, or changes in order priority.
  • Maintain a productive working relationship with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments.


Supply Chain Production Planner Skills:

  • C.P.I.M Certification (APICS) is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience transitioning between manual spreadsheets and ERP systems.
  • Highly effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from management and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and as part of a collaborative team.


Supply Chain Production Planner Requirements:

  • Strong experience in production planning specifically within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; must be comfortable with manual planning and data manipulation outside of an ERP.
  • Extensive knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOM) and the ability to navigate complex BOM structures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
  • Must have high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
