Job description

We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting companies in Aerospace Industry. This role reports to the Plant Manager for our investment casting facility in Hampton, Virginia. The Procurement Analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, mitigate risk, and drive efficiency in procurement processes. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving procurement process excellence and continuous improvement
  • Assist in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and monitoring of end‑to‑end procurement processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and automation
  • Support the development and rollout of procurement policies and process standards and ensures that initiatives are consistently governed, scalable, and business‑focused.
  • Actively participate in projects and actions to improve supplier performance
  • Consulting with the Procurement team to identify improvement opportunities
  • Creating reports for internal teams, suppliers and/or stakeholders
  • Collaborating with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Visualizing data with graphs, infographics and other methods
  • Establishing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Structuring large data sets to find usable information
  • Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Economics, Procurement, Finance or Accounting
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or similar field is highly desired
  • Strong data systems knowledge, ability to work with large data sets  
  • Proficiency in PC-based software programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBi, PowerAutomate; ability to create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
  • Skilled in communication, problem solving, and applying experience and expertise in an innovative manner
  • Experience in developing and applying reporting methodologies
  • Ability to drive improvement through supplier ratings, metrics, feedback, and project management
  • Ability to effectively work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding work environment
  • Strong passion for excellence
  • Familiarity with procurement lifecycle tools and ERP systems is a plus
  • Skilled at building slide decks and presentations as communication tools tailoring to different audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Ability to interpret and apply procurement policies and compliance requirements
