Description:
Job Summary:

  • The Tech Procurement Analyst is a member of Client’s Global Tech Support team.
  • He/she will manage a team of Tech Procurement analysts and will document, communicate, track, and monitor all hardware asset management activities in a timely manner.
  • He/she will manage stock holding; enable effective and efficient provisioning of technology equipment to Client users in the US and UK.

Job Functions:

  • Maintain procurement store security.
  • Maintain stock levels.
  • Forecast requirements based on available data.
  • Monitoring and tracking hardware orders.
  • Validation, allocation, and shipping of goods to local Tech Support.
  • Receiving good, asset tagging, scanning and tracking.
  • Obtaining accurate quotations, handling paperwork associated with purchases e.g. Invoices, P.O’s etc.
  • IT inventory, Asset Management and Reporting.
  • Liaise with internal customers regarding order fulfilment and purchase queries.
  • Work closely with Finance on reporting.
  • Schedule regular meetings with Procurement Teams in US/UK.
  • Liaise with Global Procurement to negotiate pricing for tech hardware.
  • Supplier Liaison: Building relationships, Replenishing stock, non-standard quotations and ordering.
  • Work in an office environment a minimum of four days per week, with flexibility to be in the office five days per week if required for special projects.

Experience & Education:

  • Candidates must be well organized, have good interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure under their own initiative and be committed to providing excellent customer service. 
  • Candidates must have a pro-active approach to their work and prioritize effectively, be highly motivated team players and have a good attention to detail.

Required:

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel & Office (or similar).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Good understanding of IT Hardware.
  • Previous experience of IT Procurement or IT Buying Desk environment.
  • Prior experience of working in an IT environment.

Recommended:

  • IT related qualifications obtained through further education.
  • Experience working in a media company.
  • Knowledge of reporting.
  • Experience of P2P.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Previous experience of working in a large global company.
  • Understanding of Procurement or Buying Desk environment.
