Confectionery Packaging Associate

Location: Three Bakers, Moscow, PA
Position: Confectionery Packaging Associate
Reports To: Packaging Supervisor
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm
10 hour shifts, 3 day weekend

Job Summary:

As a Confectionery Packaging Associate at Three Bakers, you will support daily production and packaging operations for our gluten-free confectionery products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves working with a variety of industrial equipment, including depositors, mixers, ovens, scales, box makers, metal detectors, heat tables, and other production machinery. You will assist with maintaining product quality, supporting production flow, and following strict food safety, hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention procedures required in a gluten-free facility. On-the-job training will be provided, but this role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a team setting, and the stamina to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform production tasks using depositors, mixers, ovens, scales, and other machinery to prepare and bake gluten-free products.
  • Assist with packaging operations using box makers, metal detectors, and additional packaging equipment.
  • Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to maintain product standards.
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols while working with heat tables and other equipment.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of work areas and machinery.
  • Flexibly handle other related tasks and equipment as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift).
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, stretching, and movement around the production area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Material handling experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training in gluten-free food production will be provided.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and follow food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to packing high quality products
  • Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks in a production environment
