Job description

Role Overview:

The Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting daily packaging operations by preparing, packing, labeling, and inspecting finished products while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. This role works closely with production personnel to ensure products are packaged accurately, safely, and in accordance with company specifications.

This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following food safety and quality standards.
1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must have a personal vehicle.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or food production preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Ability to follow production schedules, work instructions, and packaging specifications.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

  • Inspect Product Quality: Verify product appearance, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy before shipment.
  • Operate Packaging Equipment: Assist with basic packaging machinery and notify supervisors of equipment issues or production concerns.
  • Maintain Production Flow: Ensure packaging materials are available and production lines remain organized and efficient.
  • Follow Food Safety Standards: Comply with GMP, sanitation, safety, and quality procedures throughout the packaging process.
  • Maintain Work Area: Keep packaging stations clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Support Inventory Accuracy: Assist with packaging material counts and report damaged materials or inventory shortages.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to meet daily production goals and customer deadlines.
