Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused team member to join our production team as a Production Packager (1st Shift). This role is responsible for safely moving materials, supporting production flow, and preparing shipments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, organization, and efficiency.

Schedule:

  • Summer Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 4am - 2pm
  • Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am - 2pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a JIB crane using a handheld remote
  • Package finished product efficiently and securely
  • Stage orders for upcoming shipments
  • Supply production machines with coils to maintain workflow
  • Inspect materials during handling to identify and report any defects
  • Follow all safety protocols and stop work if unsafe conditions arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines
  • Assist with training new employees as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • JIB crane experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to safely operate industrial equipment
