Job description

Status: Part Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Program Coordinator is responsible for direct support for Berks County Program.
  • Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the client intake/referral process for services.
  • This position oversees the Advocacy Services as it relates to the client case management and providing community outreach and support.
  • The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.

Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
    • o Equivalent experience in a community-based agency may be accepted, unless a specific degree is required by a referring authority
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing personnel and/or budgets
  • Experience providing home and community-based services
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) with a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
