Job description

Here at Tutor Me Education, we're on a mission to empower students and school districts across the nation by offering personalized and convenient tutoring services, whether it's in-person or online. We strive to open up life-changing educational opportunities for every student, helping them overcome academic challenges and achieve lasting success.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support a caseload of K-12 schools and integrate the Tutor Me Education team, school-level staff, and manage Lead Instructors
  • Act as a mentor for instructors by providing direction, support, and encouragement in all aspects of student services.
  • Monitor all elements of implementation for a school program, including but not limited to instructor attendance, performance, material distribution, and student achievement through progress monitoring.
  • Lead and facilitate instructor orientation and training as necessary.
  • Observe instructors during small group instruction; provide performance coaching to ensure effective classroom management and growth in student achievement.
  • Complete required documentation following school visits.
  • Communicate and meet consistently with your supervisor to provide updates on progress, potential issues, and program concerns.
  • Inform your supervisor about changes at schools you support, including program observations, related to school administration and staff concerns, instructor performance and attendance, program setup, changes, and/or program effectiveness.
  • Provide instructors with applicable solutions to behavioral or educational problems arising during student instruction.
  • Provide coaching opportunities to instructors to improve instruction and student learning, including modeling best practices, coteaching, and small group strategies, observing and reflecting, collaborative planning, and more.
  • Complete Personnel Action Forms for instructors.
  • Make data-informed decisions to adjust instruction, focusing on TME's goal of student success.
  • Assist with completing, collecting, and distributing periodic (bi-weekly, monthly, mid-program, and end-of-program) reporting information for reports and surveys.
  • Oversee Program Assistants related to tracking and approving instructors' instructional logs and timecard submissions for payment.
  • Support collaboration efforts for Tutor Me Education's internal teams (Business Development, Recruiting, Curriculum, Logistics, and Accounting) and clients (district partners and personnel at school sites).
  • Confirm and assign instructors to school sites; lead client partnerships by addressing their needs.
  • Support Program Manager and TME Recruiting Specialists in placing newly recommended instructors.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with instructors throughout orientation and training, confirming knowledge transfer of program details.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with school administration and staff.
  • Attend client meetings when appropriate.
  • Complete other duties as required and assigned.
