Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Tax & Operations Program Coordinator will provide reporting and data analysis support their mobility programs. This position will be responsible for supporting the client's mobility program by working closely with the tax, finance/payroll, account management, and operations teams.
This position is open to be filled hybrid in Austin, TX or virtual in the US.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

TRWA/Work program management - Assist in monitoring group mailbox for requests, manage tracker, and facilitate follow ups as necessary. Respond to TRWA policy and tax question. Review cost estimates that are provided by client's tax firm.

Monitoring of dedicated global e-mail box and routing inquiries to the relevant parties. Tracking of international assignment cost estimates and providing to Finance for tax accrual set up. Provide Cigna report to tax provider as required. Provide responses for basic tax questions, as outlined by the client.

Review of initiations and authorizations (cost centers, relocation dates, assignment types etc.) to ensure complete information is provided to the tax service provider for global tax services. Maintaining global tax service authorization list and liaising with tax provider on any questions. Review of US domestic cost estimates received by the Program Coordinator team and/or facilitation of cost estimates to/from client's tax firm.

Coordination and tracking of proof of fund deposits, deposits of tax refunds from employees, and payments of taxes due for employees. Facilitation of Tax Equalization Payment Process including respective followups.

Escalation point of contact for tax provider for non responsive population who require tax consultations and be able to answer basic tax questions.

Quarterly review with Finance team on status of tax accounts for final release of tax accrual based on review of tax payments made by the company, collections of payments from employees, tax return preparation status etc. Quarterly review for reasonability of relocation costs for US Payroll reporting purposes. Assistance with quarterly budget to actual tax spend and payroll recharge report.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS (Qualifications, Skills, Education or Certification Requirements, etc.)
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Undergraduate degree preferred

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in talent mobility, reporting or project management
  • Intermediate accounting skills required
  • Tax background preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot table, etc)
  • Ability to work with large volume of data with attention to details and analytical skills to identify anomalies
  • Critical thinking ability to develop solutions or improvements based on business environment and business partner capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and to manage projects / task with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to adapt and embrace to different situations and new ideas with patience and agility
  • Ability to effectively utilize AI tools/agents as provided by Sirva (CoPilot, etc.) to help with their caseload (if approved by client)

  • Salary Range: $50,000-$80,000 USD
