The Opportunity
Woodhaven Furniture is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead daily operations for our Coolidge facility, overseeing the Upholstery, Cut & Sew, and Shipping departments. This position is responsible for providing leadership to supervisors and team leaders while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives are achieved.
As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you'll lead day-to-day factory execution so production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are met consistently. This role exists to keep people, processes, and priorities aligned across the floor while driving steady improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directing multiple production areas and front-line leaders to deliver output, quality, and on-time performance
- Coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable to clear standards
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency
- Partnering with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain to meet business goals
- Using data, ERP tools, and reporting to track performance and solve problems
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Preferred: supervision across multiple departments
- Highly desirable: furniture, upholstery, textile, or wood products background
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office
