Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable and detail-oriented Project Operations Supervisor to oversee our project department. The Project Operations Supervisor’s duties include but are not limited to; organizing schedules, monitoring staff performance, maintaining supplies, and ensuring company standards are maintained within the department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a supervisory role within a packaging or related warehouse environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, are essential to this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise daily operations and workflow of project area
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching/training
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Assist in all other areas as needed
  • Manage schedules, staffing, and shift assignments
  • Track productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics
  • Resolve operational issues and customer complaints
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Maintain reports and operational records
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by their manager



Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Project/Packaging Supervisor or similar role in a warehouse setting is a plus
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus, but not a requirement
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred


The hiring range for this on-site position based out of Olive Branch, MI is between $48,000 and $52,000 per year.
