Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead production operations and play a key role in shaping the future of their manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at improving processes, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, process optimization, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and performance targets.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and production personnel to build strong, engaged, and accountable teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain production flow.
  • Develop and execute operational plans that support production schedules, customer demands, and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and provide performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Oversee equipment readiness and collaborate with Maintenance to maximize uptime and operational reliability.
  • Support new product introductions and process improvements while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving measurable operational improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and report to company facilities as required, including occasional same-day travel between locations.
