Job description

Office Operations Manager

Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.

We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.

As we scale rapidly across offices and teams, we are hiring an Office Operations Manager to own the day-to-day office experience of our company and support a consistent, high-quality onboarding and culture experience as the company grows.

This role is critical to making sure the office runs smoothly, new hires feel oriented from day one, and the environment supports how Profound actually works.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day office operations, including cleaning, maintenance, security, access, supplies, and general readiness
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, snacks, meals, and equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers including building, IT, cleaning, catering, and deliveries
  • Ensure the office is consistently functional, organized, and ready for people to do their best work
  • Help execute onboarding touchpoints such as welcome breakfasts, first-week moments, and basic social connection
  • Serve as the default in-office point person for questions, issues, and day-to-day needs
  • Help plan and execute team events, lunches, celebrations, and small rituals that support connection without slowing execution
  • Support visiting teammates and leaders with office setup, schedules, and logistics
  • Partner with Ops to maintain a consistent office experience as Profound grows across NYC, SF, London, and Buenos Aires

Who you are

  • 0-3+ years of experience in office management, operations, hospitality, events, or a service-oriented role
  • Highly organized and reliable, with an ability to keep things running and notice issues before they become problems
  • Comfortable coordinating vendors, handling logistics, and managing multiple priorities at once
  • People-oriented and approachable, with teammates naturally coming to you when they need help
  • Low ego and high ownership, taking pride in doing the unglamorous work well
  • Thrive in a fast-growing startup environment where things change quickly and processes are built in real time

Location

This is an on-site role based in our SF office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $80,000 to $110,000. Comp may vary by location. Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.

Note: All official communication from Profound will come from a @tryprofound.com email address. If you're contacted by anyone using a different domain, please disregard and report it as spam.
