JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an Area Operations Manager responsible for daily operations and supervisory of Radiological Technologist and/or Sonographer in the Bay Area. The role involves planning schedules, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards. The position requires experience in the mobile field, supervisory capacity, and valid certifications. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for planning and implementing schedules and staffing within designated region.
  • Monitoring performance and forecasting service needs for personnel management and departmental P&L management.
  • Ensuring compliance with State Regulations and Laws.
  • Direct clinical interaction with the performance of studies.
  • Conducting staff evaluations and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintaining communication between management and technologists.
  • Ordering supplies, equipment, and equipment repair within designated region.
  • Orienting new employees to company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting technologists in solving technical problems.
  • Identifying and correcting problem behaviors through coaching and counseling.
  • Reviewing technologist payroll for productivity and resource control.
  • Planning and implementing strategies consistent with company requirements.
  • Performing X-rays/Ultrasounds when necessary.
  • Fleet Management Scheduling of vehicles/equipment for proper maintenance.
  • Monitoring and retaining dosimetry reports in Radiology.
  • Overseeing technologist clinical credentialing, training, and service quality.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Requirements
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification and or CT/MRI
  • CA State License
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of field work
  • 1+ Years experience in Meditech RAD - Radiology
  • Driver's License
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or exemption request
