Job description

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
Monitor and coordinate all SQ Cargo warehouse/ramp operations and supervise cargo handling agents during assigned shifts.

MAJOR DUTIES
1. Oversee cargo build-up and breakdown.
2. Coordinate with Customer Service Team and handling agents to ensure all cargo is moved as booked, and if anything is left behind, to notify Customer Service with an inventory of the on-hand cargo.
3. Provide guidance to Handling Agents on SQ’s operational SOPs if required.
4. Comply with all company procedures such as manuals, bulletins and memos.
5. Monitor transfer of cargo to interline partners and trucks.
6. Monitor station’s ULD stock.
7. Reposition excess ULDs back to SIN.
8. Follow up with daily SQ Cargo emails.
9. Perform cargo invoice verification for payment (for SFO & ANC stations).
10. Prepare turnover of all significant activities to SQ Cargo staff on the next shift.
11. Staff must be SQ DG CBTA certified.
12. Manager and Supervisors may assign any other duties as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in air freight warehouse operations.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
3. Good communication skills.
4. Ability to manage operational issues under pressure.
5. Ability to work irregular hours as assigned, including weekends.
