Job description

Business Operations Manager TV & Radio

Sacramento, CA | Full Time

Essential Functions

  • Manage the business operations: accounting functions (full cycle AR: sales order approval, credit and collections, customer payments; AP invoices, etc.), payroll and HR functions (HR representative, payroll, sales commissions, timesheets, job postings, employee onboarding, etc.), FCC compliance, financial and business operations, budgeting, forecasting and audit.

Competencies

  1. Excellent organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple work projects daily
  2. Technical capability to learn multiple software systems
  3. Communication proficiency
  4. Professionalism, discretion, independent judgement, and leadership
  5. Teamwork.

Required Education and Experience

  • •5+ years of accounting or comparable experience. Experience in the broadcast industry strongly preferred.
    •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
    •Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP preferred
    •Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
     

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Spanish language skills preferred.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
