About this Position:
TJFACT is seeking well versed and motivated Operations Manager to provide senior oversight, coordination, and management of contractor personnel and logistics operations in support of the 63d Readiness Division (RD) G4 West Region, United States (U.S.) Department of War (DOW) mission readiness requirements.
This role is ideal for personnel who possess the optimal level of skills which will enable 63d RD to improve training proficiency, maintenance management, and unit administration.
This role is full-time/on-site at the following ECS location:
  • Los Alamitos, CA

As the Operations Manager, you'll ensure mission readiness by directing subordinate supervisors and personnel, overseeing maintenance and logistical operations, and coordinating with Army leadership to achieve operational objectives.
Please note this role is contingent upon a contract award.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise subordinate supervisors and employees, assigning work based on skills and mission requirements, setting priorities, and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate with senior Army leadership, staff officers, and other units to provide operational updates, guidance, and recommendations for logistics and maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement performance standards, evaluate subordinate supervisors, and review work performed by subordinate employees to ensure quality and compliance with contract and Army requirements.
  • Provide technical oversight for field and sustainment maintenance on vehicles, equipment, and other surface systems issued to the unit.
  • Resolve operational and administrative issues, including employee complaints, grievances, staffing recommendations, and workflow challenges.
  • Support personnel management actions, including interviewing candidates, recommending promotions or reassignments, and advising on awards, bonuses, and classification changes.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Army regulations, safety requirements, environmental policies, and the contractor Quality Control and Safety Plans while supporting operational readiness objectives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years documented leadership experience in military logistics, maintenance, or operations management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Army logistics operations, maintenance procedures, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating with senior management, commanders, and multi-unit staff in operational or logistical planning.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide guidance, prepare reports, and advise leadership.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access, background checks, and Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility as required by the contract.
  • Knowledge of quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance applicable to maintenance, storage, and logistics operations.
