Regional Director_Franchise Operations

Location: California (Up to 50% Travel)

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations

Position Summary

The Franchise Regional Director (RD) provides strategic and operational leadership for multiple company-owned locations within an assigned region. This position ensures operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and outstanding client service.

The RD works closely with the Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations, Executive Director of Franchise Operations, and cross-functional teams including Human Resources, Finance, and Internal Audit to execute company initiatives and deliver measurable results.


ResponsibilitiesLeadership & People Management
  • Lead and mentor local management teams to achieve performance and service excellence.

  • Build a culture of engagement, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics (UOP, DSO, revenue growth, retention).

  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance insights to senior leadership.

Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure all operations meet state, federal, and licensing standards.

  • Partner with HR to maintain compliance with employment and workplace regulations.

  • Promote ethical practices, client safety, and quality assurance.

Strategic Planning & Growth
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Conduct regular SWOT analyses to anticipate business challenges and drive solutions.

  • Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with company objectives and EBITDA targets.

Financial Performance
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across all assigned locations.

  • Evaluate financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Implement strategies to reduce overtime, optimize staff utilization, and lower turnover.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in multi-site or regional management, preferably within healthcare, homecare, or a related service industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven record of achieving business growth and operational excellence.

  • Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or risk management preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
