Job description

Franchise Operations Manager

Compression Health | San Diego, CA (field-based, local travel to stores) | Full-time

About Compression Health

Compression Health provides expert-fitted compression garments and soft bracing to patients, athletes, and wellness-minded consumers. We're an early-stage franchise concept building toward a national network.

The Role

You'll be the operational backbone of the franchisor team, reporting directly to the President. This is a ground-floor role: you'll write the procedures, train the franchisees, audit the standards, and lead improvement projects — then own those systems as the network scales.

Key Responsibilities

Procedures & documentation

·      Own the operations manual — SOPs, work instructions, and job aids covering patient intake, claims documentation, and store workflows

·      Keep procedures current as payer requirements, products, and systems change

·      Improve and standardize processes as the network grows — identify what isn’t working and drive the fix

Training & new-store launch

·      Design and deliver training for franchise owners and store staff

·      Support new-store openings end to end — pre-opening readiness, on-site launch, post-launch follow-up

·      Define training content and partner with the MPR brands training team on production and delivery

Adherence Auditing & Issue Resolution

·      Audit stores for adherence to brand operating standards; document findings, coach through corrections, re-verify

·      Escalate systemic issues to the President with a clear recommendation

·      Coach franchisees on operating best practices proactively, not only when something is out of standard

Systems Management

·      Own routine data operations and record hygiene in Niko Health

·      First-line support for franchisee system questions

·      Maintain and report the operational scorecard; surface trends and underperformance to the President

Pay:
$95k-$112k Salary + Annual Bonus
Brand:
Compression Health
Requirements:

Qualifications

·      2+ years in healthcare operations, clinic administration, DME, or multi-unit healthcare/retail

·      Proven ability to write clear process documentation

·      Strong project management — you can run a multi-month workstream against external deadlines

·      Coaching disposition: you can hold a standard without damaging the relationship

·      Based in San Diego with ability to travel regularly to local stores

·      Comfortable wearing multiple hats on a small, fast-moving team

Preferred experience includes:

·      Experience training staff in a clinical or retail setting

·      Healthcare accreditation experience

·      Franchise or multi-unit brand-standards experience

Compensation

  • Base Salary ($95,000-$112,000) + Bonus (10% annual)

Benefits

  • Medical (78-93% paid options by MPRB), Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life
  • Vacation, Holiday, & Sick Pay
  • 401K (competitive company match)
