Job description

We are hiring a Maintenance Scheduler to coordinate maintenance Personnel and availableresources to ensuring work is done on time to include creating and assigning work orders for maintenance tasks toensure the right resources are available (i.e., parts and inventory).

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and organize all the information required for the work being performed. (i.e., drawings, Contractor
    manuals, supplemental materials, special procedures, diagrams, etc.)
  • Balance scheduled work orders with labor availability and skills; maintain and monitors backlog for adherence to industry standards; maintains and monitors a weekly schedule for all crafts.
  • Prepare requisitions in the Government system or other work order system to ensure materials, parts, labor and other charges are allocated to the appropriate work order.
  • Verify all material, information, tools and labor are available prior to scheduling.
  • Work with warehouse Personnel to control spare part usage to maximize inventory control through regular
    turnover, without using critical spares for routine maintenance, and reducing maintenance costs.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and operational functions to minimize downtime.
  • Estimate and define requirements for total labor, materials, special tools, equipment, and skill sets, for all
    work including complex projects such as building shutdown, building improvement projects, etc.
  • Implement and maintain a maintenance strategy plan for assigned work locations.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports with recommendations or changes needed.
  • Establishes and maintains advanced work planning for capital improvement and job order contract
    projects.
  • Participate in redundancy and contingency planning for emergency situations. Use critical path methods
    and other planning methods to coordinate and optimize workflow.
  • Maintain records and reports.
  • Ensure proper security clearances are obtained for all Personnel as required.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all the Contractor Personnel to meet assigned goals.
  • Adjust operations and Personnel to meet assigned goals.
  • Maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to
    build professional relationships (i.e., Personnel, customers, etc.).
  • Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY,
    OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
  • Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
  • Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix
    of all related matters.
  • Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders,
    or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail
  • Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.


Required Experience

  • Minimum of 4 Years of Experience Developing and Scheduling Work, and Associates of Arts Degree in
    Facility Management or Construction Management, or related field, an active CLASS C Driver's License, and
    Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Applications - specifically MS Excel
  • or
    Minimum of 6 Years of Experience Developing and Scheduling Work, and High School Diploma/GED, an
    active CLASS C Driver's License, and Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Applications - specifically MS Excel.
