Job Description:
The Maintenance Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance service requests to ensure timely and efficient resolution of field issues. This role involves entering and tracking tickets, scheduling work orders, and dispatching technicians or vendors with the necessary job information. Acting as a key point of contact, the Dispatcher communicates with vendors to obtain updates, coordinate quotes, and track ordered parts. The position requires maintaining accurate records within Salesforce software, managing urgent requests and last-minute schedule changes, and supporting the maintenance team and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for entering tickets and dispatching maintenance issues related to our convenience stores as needed.
  • Troubleshooting common maintenance issues with operations team.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance work orders, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely service delivery
  • Dispatch maintenance technicians and/or vendors to job sites, providing them with the necessary information.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, obtaining updates on service requests and ordered parts, coordinating quotes.
  • Work with store managers on troubleshooting common maintenance issues related to convenience store equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, schedules, and technician assignments using Sales Force software and Monday.com.
  • Handle last-minute schedule changes and urgent service requests with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Occasional emergency on-call on weekends and holidays.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with upper management and maintenance contractors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects at one time

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with facility maintenance is preferred.
