Trucking Operations - Dispatcher

Location: Whitestown, Indiana
Compensation: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday
  • Friday-Sunday: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do
Operations & Dispatch Management
  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers to ensure all loads are covered
  • Monitor routes, schedules, and real-time changes to keep operations on track
  • Coordinate with teams to optimize routes, equipment, and staffing
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure safety is always the #1 priority across operations
  • Monitor and enforce DOT, HOS (Hours of Service), and federal/state regulations
  • Audit driver logs and report discrepancies
Driver Support & Leadership
  • Train and support new and existing drivers on company policies and procedures
  • Conduct driver meetings and provide ongoing guidance and performance feedback
  • Ensure drivers are properly scheduled and show up ready for their shifts
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Maintenance, Recruiting, Rental, and Safety teams
  • Coordinate equipment needs, repairs, and staffing requirements
  • Serve as a key point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams
Customer Service & Performance
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through daily communication
  • Ensure TCI meets or exceeds customer performance targets
  • Balance safety, cost control, and service excellence in every decision
What You Bring
  • Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations (preferred)
  • Strong multitasking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) (preferred)
  • Ability to lead, train, and support drivers
  • Strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
