Litigation Assistant – Personal Injury
Location: Burbank, CA | On-site | $25–$30/hr

Direct Counsel is representing a successful personal injury firm in Burbank, CA, known for its exceptional results and commitment to client service. Specializing in car accident cases, this growing firm is seeking a Litigation Assistant to support its dynamic and fast-paced litigation department.

What You’ll Do:

As a Litigation Assistant, you’ll work closely with attorneys and paralegals to keep cases moving efficiently through the litigation process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electronic court filings (e-filing)

  • Coordinating client appointments and maintaining ongoing communication

  • Preparing case files and documents for court appearances

  • Drafting pleadings and Judicial Council forms

  • Communicating with opposing counsel

  • Supporting attorneys and paralegals with on-demand litigation tasks


What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in litigation; personal injury law experience preferred

  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English ((Preferred but NOT required)

  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Skills:

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented

    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Please Note: This is a 100% in-person role located in Burbank, CA. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
