Manager I Learning (BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy)

Job Description:

Manager I Learning

LOCATION: Lake Mary, FL is the preferred location. Alternate locations of Indianapolis, St. Louis, or Las Vegas may be considered. You are required to be in the office 3x per week.

HOURS: General business hours, Monday through Friday.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required.

Hybrid 2: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Manager I Learning is responsible for ensuring successful implementation of high-quality performance solutions to the company and/or specific clients.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages a team of Learning & Development associates responsible for the delivery of learning solutions to meet client needs and objectives.

  • Consults with clients to understand strategic objectives.

  • Oversees the consistent practice of performance consulting with clients to identify the root causes of performance gaps.

  • Ensures alignment of local efforts with Enterprise strategic objectives.

  • Oversees the formulation of teaching outlines, instructional methods, and/or teaching aids.

  • Ensures courses and other educational information support the overall business objectives.

  • Oversees the utilization of performance consulting skills in the development of training materials for associates.

  • May conduct training sessions for clients or Learning & Development associates.

  • Oversees the implementation of effective training feedback mechanisms to improve training programs and to assess the impact of the investment made in training.

  • Partners with the Director to develop and implement market or business segment training strategy that aligns with the departmental/enterprise Learning & Development strategy.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires BA/BS degree in education, communication, business management, organizational effectiveness or related field, and a minimum of 4 years management and/or leadership experience and minimum of 5 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior L&D experience (both training and curriculum design) are a must for this role!

  • 4+ years of experience working in a call center is a must!

  • Pharmacy or healthcare setting is highly preferred.

  • You must have a thorough understanding of implementing training programs that span multiple lines of business.

  • You must be comfortable training and presenting to large groups, and have an excellent understanding of adult learning principles.

  • Previous project management experience.

  • Experience with change management.
