Position Purpose:
The Communications Lead serves as the senior communications professional within the Communication Department and works in partnership with the Vice President of Business Development to coordinate the day-to-day execution of departmental initiatives, projects, and priorities. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing internal and external communications initiatives that promote Regional Care Group's mission, services, programs, and family of brands while ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
The Communications Lead provides advanced communications expertise, manages complex projects from concept through completion with the V.P. of Business Development, coordinates communication activities across departments, and serves as a primary resource for the V.P. of Business Development and staff regarding communication planning and implementation. The position collaborates closely with the V.P. of Business Development to support the departmental goals, recommend communication strategies, and monitor project progress. The Communication Lead may provide functional leadership and project direction to staff, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions:
This position serves as the senior communication resource within the Communication department and supports the V.P. of Business Development in providing coordinating departmental operations, communication initiatives, branding efforts, and organizational messaging.
Requirements:
Three to five years of experience in marketing, public relations, journalism, or organizational communication required. Experience leading communication initiatives, campaigns, or organizational projects preferred. Healthcare, nonprofit, human services, or behavioral health experience preferred. The position also requires:
Strong understanding of public relations, marketing, branding, and strategic communications principles.
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
Proficiency in Associated Press (AP) Style.
Experience with social media, website content management systems, email marketing platforms, and digital communications.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, HTML, and content management systems.
Location: Merrillville, Indiana
Pay: $47,228.87 - $63,240.75
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (M-F)
