Position: Senior Recruiter / Recruiting Team Lead
We are seeking a highly driven Senior Recruiter / Team Lead to join our dynamic and fast-scaling organization. This is a hands-on role that combines individual recruiting responsibility with team leadership in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. This role is critical in leading full-cycle recruitment efforts while also directly managing a personal requisition load, helping shape and elevate Curis' talent acquisition strategy.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in healthcare recruiting along with the ability to lead and influence and sell. This individual will operate as both a player and a coach-personally driving recruiting outcomes while building team capability-and will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring Curis continues to attract and hire top-tier clinical talent to support its rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Leadership
  • Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for clinical roles across multiple markets
  • Help define and scale recruiting best practices across the organization
  • Mentor and support junior recruiters as the team grows

Workforce Planning & Strategy
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs aligned with expansion goals
  • Develop proactive pipelines for high-demand clinical roles
  • Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation, and competition

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
  • Drive innovative sourcing strategies using networking, professional organizations, social platforms, job boards and direct outreach
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified clinical professionals
  • Deliver a high-touch, relationship-driven candidate experience

Screening & Selection
  • Assess candidates for cultural fit and long-term potential and ensure alignment with clinical role requirements
  • Ensure candidates meet licensing, credentialing, and compliance standards
  • Guide hiring teams through structured and effective interview and conversion processes

Operations and KPIs
  • Own and drive recruiting metrics including time-to-hire, pipeline conversion, candidate experience, and offer acceptance rates
  • Deliver against hiring goals in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Actively seek and implement innovative strategies to enhance Curis' recruitment efforts.

Employer Branding
  • Position Curis as an employer of choice within the healthcare and wellness space
  • Support branding initiatives across digital platforms and professional networks

Qualifications & Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)

Experience
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with strong preference for healthcare sector
  • Experience in sales highly desired
  • Proven track record of success in high-volume and/or growth-stage environments
  • Experience mentoring recruiters or leading recruiting initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Experience explaining stock options to candidates

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of clinical roles, credentialing, and healthcare hiring practices
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, along with ability to sell
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS and recruiting analytics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
