Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide frontline HR support to team members, manages personnel action forms, performance discussion forms, and assists with basic recruitment tasks. This role ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations and contributes to a positive team member experience through responsive service and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

HR Support

  • Respond to team member inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and general HR matters.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation support.
  • Maintain accurate team member records and update HR systems as needed.
  • Submit payroll deductions for gaming licenses and shoes for crews.
  • Monitor PAF and PDF dashboards daily to ensure processes are moving in a timely manner.
  • Create PAFs in Paycom for all Additional Duties, Dual Rates, Reinstatements, and Demotions.
  • Answer routine inquiries from internal and external sources on available positions, policies, and programs.
  • Provide coverage by assuming responsibilities for Staffing, Benefits billing, Training, and Team Member Experience (engagement) when necessitated by HR absences.
  • Assist team members with Casino Essentials and Navigator programs.
  • Assist with prep, set-up, and execution of special events.
  • Perform clerical functions and prepare reports, as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Recruitment Assistance

  • Assist with resume screening as needed.
  • Manage pre-employment processes including TGO/HR appointment set-up, onboarding documentation, and NH queue setup.
  • Schedule lab work for all new hires and rehires.
  • Assist Training Specialist with new hire orientation set-up and confirmations.
  • Support onboarding tasks such as new hire paperwork, orientation logistics, and gaming licenses.

QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

  3. Two (2) years' clerical experience in an office required
  4. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR database systems
    2. Must be able to type 45 wpm
    3. Must have excellent communication (written/verbal) skills.

  6. Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  7. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
