Job description

This position is responsible for leading an organization's resources strategy, overseeing recruitment, talent management, employee relations, benefits, legal compliance, and workplace culture, acting as a strategic advisor to senior management to align HR goals with overall business objectives. They develop policies, manage HR staff, handle sensitive issues, and ensure fair employment practices while driving workforce development and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Aligning HR strategies with the company's business plan.
  • Policy & Compliance: Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies and ensuring adherence to labor laws (like ADA, EEO, OSHA).
  • Recruitment & Talent: Overseeing hiring, retention, talent development, and performance management.
  • Employee Relations: Overseeing disciplinary issues, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Managing salary structures, benefits, and insurance programs.
  • Leadership: Managing the HR department, its budget, and advising senior leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: At least a bachelor's degree, preferably a master's in HR, Labor Relations, or Business Administration.

  • Experience: Extensive experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Certifications: Professional HR certifications preferred.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, leadership, strong understanding of employment law, negotiation, and communication.

A level 2 background check is required for employment with True Vet Solutions.
