Job Summary: The HR Operations, Compliance and Talent Specialist support the Human Resources department by administering core HR operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining HR systems and data integrity,
and delivering exceptional employee experience. This role is responsible for HR policy administration, onboarding and
offboarding, HRIS management, compliance reporting, and employee relations support, while also coordinating talent and
performance initiatives, including performance management, employee development, engagement programs, and leadership
development support. This position works closely with managers and HR leadership to promote operational excellence,
strengthen organizational effectiveness, and foster a compliant, high-performing workplace culture.

Responsibilities
Duties:
Policy Administration & Compliance
  • Assist in the communication and application of HR policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and
    local laws.
  • Support compliance audits including I-9 verifications, personnel file reviews, and required postings.
  • Ensure all employee actions and HR practices align with legal and company policy requirements.
  • Maintain HR records in accordance with document retention policies and compliance standards.

Employee Experience & Culture
  • Provide high-quality support and responses to employee inquiries regarding HR processes, policies, and benefits.
  • Assist in the execution of HR initiatives that foster employee engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Help Coordinate employee appreciation activities, training, and internal communications.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and promote awareness of company policies, programs, and expectations.
  • Support the administration of the performance management process, including performance review cycles, goal tracking,
    and documentation.

HRIS Management & Data Analytics
  • Maintain employee data in the HRIS system and ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Support data audits and assist in identifying areas for process improvement based on analytical findings.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager to utilize data in support of HR functions and compliance tracking.
  • Support compensation administration by maintaining job descriptions, salary ranges, and market compensation data.

Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics including new hire documentation, and system setup.
  • Facilitate a smooth offboarding process by collecting company property, processing terminations in HRIS, and
    conducting exit checklists.
  • Maintain and update onboarding and off boarding templates and resources to ensure consistency and compliance
    Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a seamless candidate and
    new hire experience
  • Assist in other general areas of Human Resources as needed.

Leadership Development:
  • Assist managers with performance improvement documentation and development plans while ensuring consistency
    with company policies.
  • Assist in coordinating leadership development and learning initiatives by scheduling training and tracking participation.

Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business
  • Administration, or 2 to 3 year's experience in the related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of Company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices
  • Computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential data
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Well organized with good time management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills

Pay Range
$55,000 - $70,000
