Job description

We are looking for a sales representative to work our extensive portfolio in Hilton Head/Beaufort/Bluffton in South Carolina. The purpose of the Sales Representative is to provide our customers with exemplary service, create relationships, be dependable and dedicated and take the initiative of your sales territory while maintaining the integrity of Aleph Wines values with a positive attitude
Responsibilities
  • Meet established weekly, monthly, and yearly goals
  • Develop a sales and marketing plan to sell the wine, spirit, and non-alcoholic products represented by Aleph Wines within the assigned territory
  • Cold call existing and new restaurants, Wine, Beer, & Liquor shops, Grocery outlets, and Non alcoholic accounts within the territory to develop new business
  • Monitor growth and opportunities within the territory with the use of weekly and monthly reporting tools
  • Communicate in an extremely timely manner with customers, the office, and management
  • Coordinate and conduct supplier ride-withs, in-store tastings, wine dinners, charity events, and staff training
  • Work with the accounting department to resolve payment issues within the territory
  • Work with the warehouse to coordinate product delivery, including assisting with deliveries during holidays, short weeks, and staffing shortages
  • Attend team and company meetings when required
  • May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs

Qualifications
  • Prefer some experience in the fine wine market, and general knowledge of beer and spirits.
  • Knowledge of the wine-growing regions and grapes around the world, beer knowledge, and spirits knowledge
  • Resident of Hilton Head/Beaufort/Bluffton Area
  • Be at least 21 years old with a valid SC driver's license and insurance
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Goal oriented
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Reliable transportation, laptop computer, cell phone
