Job description

Position Title: Junior Sales Representative.
Salary: Starting at $20/hour + commission with structured opportunities for promotion and increased commission potential
A recognized leader in the precious metals industry is looking for a hungry, coachable Junior Sales Representative to join its growing Los Angeles sales team. This is a high-performance B2C sales role where you'll work qualified leads generated through national marketing campaigns, learn directly from experienced sales leaders and build the skills to sell gold, silver, platinum and palladium to clients across the country You'll begin with hands-on training and mentorship, learning how to qualify prospects, navigate objections, build trust over the phone and move opportunities through a sales cycle that can range from several days to several months. The ideal candidate has at least two years of B2C sales experience, thrives in a competitive environment, and has the persistence, discipline, and coachability to turn consistent effort into exceptional earnings.
Responsibilities
  • Engage qualified inbound and marketing-generated leads through a high-volume phone-based sales process with no traditional cold calling
  • Make approximately 60-100 outbound calls per day to connect with prospects, qualify opportunities and consistently build your pipeline
  • Develop trust with prospective clients through active listening, strong phone communication and a clear understanding of their individual goals
  • Educate prospects on physical precious metals including gold, silver, platinum and palladium and guide them toward appropriate purchasing options
  • Conduct strategic follow-up throughout sales cycles ranging from approximately one week to six months
  • Learn alongside senior sales professionals and leadership while developing the skills required to independently manage and close opportunities
  • Maintain consistent activity, organization, and persistence while working toward individual sales and revenue goals

Requirements
  • 2+ years of successful B2C sales experience, ideally within a high-performance or commission-driven environment
  • Proven ability to qualify leads, overcome objections, follow up consistently and close business
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume phone sales environment and maintaining strong daily activity levels
  • Exceptional active listening, persuasive communication and professional phone etiquette
  • Competitive, resilient and self-motivated with the discipline to stay focused throughout the sales ramp-up period
  • Highly coachable with the ability to receive feedback, make adjustments quickly and learn a proven sales process
  • Strong work ethic, persistence and genuine interest in financial markets, investing or precious metals
