Job description

Position Title: Marketing Sales Representative
About the Role: Our client is looking for a Marketing Sales Representative to help drive growth by building relationships, closing new business, and serving as a trusted advisor to eCommerce brands investing heavily in digital advertising. This is an opportunity to join a highly successful remote agency where you'll work directly with leadership, own your sales pipeline, and play a meaningful role in company growth.
You'll manage a mix of inbound opportunities and outbound prospecting while partnering with marketing and analytics teams to create audits, presentations, and strategic recommendations for prospective clients. The ideal candidate understands agency sales, can confidently discuss SEO, PPC, email marketing, ROAS, and paid media strategies, and is motivated by both relationship-building and earning substantial commission income.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 BASE / Year DOE
Additional Compensation:
  • Quarterly commission structure
  • OTE: $130,000 - $200,000+
  • Commission earned on both new business and renewals

Marketing Sales Representative Responsibilities:
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads generated through referrals, website inquiries, Meta, and Google campaigns
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and build targeted email marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities
  • Own the sales process from qualification through close and transition clients to implementation teams
  • Maintain client relationships throughout the onboarding and engagement process
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams on audits, presentations, proposals, and sales materials
  • Develop customized solutions for e-commerce businesses investing in digital marketing services
  • Build and manage outbound sales campaigns utilizing platforms such as HubSpot, Instantly, Apollo, and BuiltWith
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess marketing spend, business goals, and service needs
  • Achieve annual sales goals of $1-$2 million in new business revenue
  • Manage sales cycles typically ranging from 30 to 60 days

Marketing Sales Representative Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience selling digital marketing services within an agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, Meta advertising, Google Analytics, ROAS, and digital marketing strategy
  • Experience creating and managing outbound email campaigns, including messaging, cadence development, and campaign execution
  • Ability to independently prospect, qualify, and nurture leads throughout the sales cycle
  • Comfortable discussing marketing strategy and performance metrics with prospective clients
  • Experience working with e-commerce businesses is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
