The Professional Sales Representative position is responsible for delivering a memorable sales experience to our customers while working in a fast-paced sales environment amongst a team of professionals. This position works primarily with residential homebuilders, professional remodelers, and commercial contractors.
Essential Functions

  • Work directly with our existing accounts to grow our relationships and increase sales.
  • Seek new builder and/or remodel business in the local market in order to grow territory and client base.
  • Contributes towards growth and profitability through use of selling skills, following up on outstanding quotes, following price objectives
  • Works independently to prepare quotes and proposals in a timely manner utilizing designated company guidelines, systems, and software.
  • Analyzes the market potential, tracks sales and provide sales activities to VP of sales
  • Coordinate sales efforts with design team, ensuring price objectives are followed
  • Understand and promote company programs and product offerings. Staying up-to-date with product releases.
  • Monitor the companys industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customers specific needs
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales to follow Design Team policies, build the CKF Brand and set sales goals

Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
  • Past sales experience
  • Ability to multi-task and professionally manage a multitude of interactions both internally and external to the company.
  • Commitment to customer service and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers

Preferred Education and Experience
  • past experience in cabinet, countertop or closet sales
  • past experience with home interior design and layout
  • Ability to read and scale residential and commercial blueprints
