Job Description We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting Meta's hardware development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic hardware design, bring-up, and validation and a proven ability to execute structured test plans, document results, and partner cross-functionally to meet program milestones. This is a time-bound engagement intended to address specific project needs and is not a full-time role. Responsibilities: Support the design, bring-up, and validation of electronic hardware including boards, subsystems, and modules from concept through verification. Develop and execute test plans, perform bench testing, debug, and conduct root-cause analysis of hardware issues. Document designs, requirements, validation results, and engineering changes with clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality partners to support program milestones and deliverables. Assist with component selection, schematic and layout reviews, and design-for-test and manufacturability considerations. Provide regular status updates on assigned deliverables and risks, and support issue tracking and resolution. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience with hardware development and lab-based debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and power supplies. Ability to read and interpret schematics and support board or system bring-up and validation. Experience developing test procedures and documenting results in a structured, reproducible manner. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with design-for-test and design-for-manufacturability reviews.
