Job description

Position Summary
The Strategic Relationship Executive serves as the primary Account Manager for a portfolio of strategic accounts, with full ownership of retention, renewal, expansion, and account strategy. This role is accountable for driving long-term account value through proactive relationship management, revenue growth, and strategic partnership development.
The SRE serves as the primary point of contact following contract execution and leads all critical client interactions by leveraging cross-functional resources. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to identify and mitigate risk while driving measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Act as the primary relationship owner for a defined portfolio of strategic accounts, prioritizing high-value and growth-oriented clients
  • Complex Account Ownership: Manage complex client environments with multiple stakeholders and high-impact business outcomes
  • Internal Collaboration: Utilize internal resources (Product Innovation, Client Success, Product Marketing, Executive) to manage account relationships, troubleshoot issues, and position Authenticx for growth and account saturation
  • Account Strategy: Lead all critical account meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), internal alignments, recurring syncs, etc.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Forecast revenue and quota attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Account Growth: Own renewals and the full expansion sales cycle from opportunity identification through close, in partnership with Sales as needed
  • Post-Sales Ownership: Serve as the main point of contact immediately after a new deal is fully contracted (Kickoff Meetings, Internal Knowledge Transition, Onboarding, etc.)
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and flag risk in accounts (EX: revenue, account health) and collaborate internally/externally to address

  • Sales Acumen: Identifying and executing expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Customer Health Assessment: Assessing and monitoring customer health metrics to ensure engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Communication: Facilitating clear, consistent communication and ensuring alignment of resources across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Demonstrating expertise in data management and ensuring strict adherence to CRM processes for accurate reporting and account tracking.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Informatics, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B, client-facing role with direct ownership of account outcomes (e.g., Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or similar).
  • Demonstrated track record of retaining and growing accounts, including upsell, cross-sell, and renewal management.
  • Experience managing a book of business with revenue responsibility and consistently meeting or exceeding retention and expansion targets.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate them into business opportunities that drive value for both the client and the organization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to deliver on client outcomes, including working with product, sales, and operations teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize strategically, manage competing demands, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional information
  • This is a hybrid position based in Indianapolis requiring 2 days a week in office.
  • Minimal overnight travel is expected for client meetings approximately 1-4x per year, based on business needs.
