EVENT SALES MANAGER

As Assistant General Manager you will oversee Front of House Operations, Back of House Operations, working with management to provide a fun working environment with opportunities for growth and specializing in group events and internal promotions. To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent people skills, a willingness to learn and experience in an active, fast paced, venue. team, to support high-quality food and drink menus and motivate our teammates to exceed guest expectations. Strong leadership

skills and the ability to be flexible with large events and inclement weather is required and bilingual is preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

The AGM/Event Sales Manager organizes all aspects of events, promotions and birthday parties including contacting interested groups and individuals, building reservations, and scheduling staff.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assume full facility responsibility for days when GM is not present
  • Facilitate creative and entertaining promotions, parties and events
  • Schedule, coordinate and manage event requests
  • Create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests
  • Organize and implement event and party activities
  • Supervise and schedule event staff
  • Maintain and confirm reservations and prepare reports
  • Oversee/provide clean up following parties
  • Manage event team
    • Ensure that party sheets are completed both accurately and on time
      • Daily event / party schedule
      • food orders and platters
  • Source, order, and maintain inventory of party supplies in coordination with GM
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop and facilitate a marketing plan to drive more parties
    • Email Campaigns
    • Social Media oversight
    • Onsite advertisement
    • Manages call log
  • Maintains open communications with management of scheduled events
  • Communicate with BOH to ensure food orders are accurate for upcoming events
  • Develop and implement post-party follow up and referral process
  • Assists and supports front desk staff on all events related questions/concerns
  • Operates Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and event transactions
  • Provides or performs other services or duties as required by General Manager
