Since 2011, NeueHouse has been a creative catalyst at the forefront of New York City's membership club scene, bringing together independent thinkers across fashion, music, publishing, entrepreneurship, and beyond. Building on that legacy, The Mallory and Aperture will expand CHG's lifestyle portfolio by introducing distinctive destinations for private events, creators, innovators, and community. About The Role:

As Director of Sales, you will lead the commercial strategy across NeueHouse Madison Square, The Mallory, and Aperture. You'll shape how these brands grow, generate revenue, and expand their presence in New York while helping define the future of our lifestyle portfolio. While this is a sales leadership role, you'll partner closely with our centralized Marketing team to bring each venue to market in a way that feels authentic to its brand. Together, you'll develop go-to-market strategies, identify new growth opportunities, and create campaigns that build awareness, drive demand, and showcase what makes each destination unique.

We're looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader who understands the evolving meetings and events landscape, appreciates the nuances of private membership communities, and recognizes how technology is changing the way people work, gather, and connect. Reporting to the VP of Sales, NYC, you'll play a pivotal role as we continue investing in NeueHouse Madison Square and prepare for the openings of The Mallory and Aperture. You'll help maximize the potential of iconic spaces including the Penthouse overlooking the Chrysler Building, an 86-seat cinema, a private restaurant and café, flexible event spaces, and a fully reimagined second floor designed for members and events alike.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver multi-million dollar revenue targets by deploying sales, marketing and pricing strategies based on market demand and seasonality.
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Centralized Sales and Brand Marketing to align regional campaigns, drive profitable demand across products and maximize client experience.
  • Dynamically inform product design and service delivery based on client and member feedback
  • Sales presence should be engaging, approachable and build instant rapport to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team of 4-6 sales professionals

  • Grow revenue and opportunities through local relationship management, channel partners, strategic accounts and local insights
  • Build and grow relationships with key market partners, area hotels, other large scale venues, broker agencies, event production companies and Association Management firms
  • Know your competition and successfully articulate the NeuHouse story and how we differentiate
  • Partner with Operational leadership to best support the client experience and maximize revenue generating opportunities and work cross functionally
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Support Marketing Manager to deliver highly targeted local outreach, campaigns and content; curate culturally relevant productions/community partnerships; maximize owned channels including email, social media, sales enablement collateral and on-site screens/signage; and build a pipeline of events that include branching into off-peak periods.
  • Work closely with SVP Brand Marketing to maximize centralized resources supporting NeueHouse, including digital marketing, a shared PR agency across our 3 new NYC cultural venues, and shared graphic design and cultural marketing support.
  • Partner with the Director of Membership to support initiatives designed to engage members and create a one-of-a-kind community and member experience. Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for upcoming months to guide operational strategy and inform resource allocation.
What We Look For:
  • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years leading high-performing Sales teams in high-volume hospitality or meeting and events sectors.
  • Deep understanding of revenue analytics and the ability to articulate the NeueHouse story to differentiate us in the market.
  • Proven success managing teams through intense collaboration between sales, marketing and revenue leadership.
  • Established network within the New York City meetings, events and hospitality industry with experience cultivating relationships with corporate, agency and event planning clients.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools, using data and forecasting to drive pipeline health and business decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 / annually

This role is also eligible for Convene's sales commission program. Variable compensation and total on-target earnings are commensurate with experience, background, and individual performance and has potential to reach $200,000–$210,000 annually.
