Job description

Event Sales Executive โ€“ Inbound Venue Sales

The Bell Tower on 34th โ€“ Houston, TX

Full-Time | Performance-Based Sales Role

Compensation: $55,000 โ€“ $120,000+ per year

The Bell Tower on 34th is one of Houstonโ€™s most established high-end event venues, producing weddings and corporate events at scale.

We are seeking a disciplined inbound sales professional who thrives in a structured environment and is confident guiding clients to a decision.

This is not a tour guide role.
This is a professional sales position with clear expectations, defined systems, and measurable performance.

About the Role

As an Event Sales Executive, you will work with qualified inbound inquiries from couples and organizations interested in hosting events at The Bell Tower.

Your job is to guide prospects through a structured sales process, conduct venue tours, present pricing, and confidently ask for the booking.

Successful candidates understand that sales is leadership, discipline, and execution.

What You Will Do

โ€ข Respond quickly to inbound inquiries (web, phone, referrals)
โ€ข Schedule and conduct venue tours
โ€ข Guide prospects through a defined sales process
โ€ข Present pricing and event structure during seated consultations
โ€ข Follow up consistently and professionally
โ€ข Maintain accurate CRM documentation
โ€ข Confidently ask for the booking and deposit

You will operate within a defined sales script and process designed to produce consistent results.

The sales script must be learned and executed within the first week of training.

Top performers understand that process discipline protects conversion and improves closing performance.

Technology & Tools

Our sales team uses modern tools to improve training and performance.

Team members work with:

โ€ข CRM systems
โ€ข AI-assisted communication tools
โ€ข Call and meeting recording tools used for coaching
โ€ข Digital scheduling systems

Event Sales Executives use their personal cell phone for client communication, and the company provides a laptop for CRM and internal systems.

Candidates must be comfortable using AI tools and modern sales technology as part of professional development.

Schedule & Availability

Prospects tour venues evenings and weekends, so schedule flexibility is essential.

Sales professionals who succeed here understand that when a client is ready to move forward, the schedule sometimes follows the opportunity.

This can occasionally mean:

โ€ข coming in early
โ€ข staying late
โ€ข working evenings or weekends
โ€ข fitting lunch in between tours

when it helps move a deal forward.

Personal Presentation

Our clients expect professionalism.

Team members should maintain a polished, fashion-forward professional appearance that reflects the quality and reputation of our venue.

You represent the brand at all times.

What Success Looks Like

โ€ข Maintaining a tour-to-close conversion rate of 35% or higher
โ€ข Fast response time to new leads
โ€ข Consistent CRM documentation
โ€ข Professional execution of the sales process
โ€ข Calm, confident closing conversations

Performance is measured through clear sales metrics, including close rate and responsiveness.

Top performers consistently convert 35% or more of qualified tours into bookings.

Who Thrives Here

โ€ข Competitive sales professionals
โ€ข People who enjoy structure and proven systems
โ€ข Fast responders who stay organized
โ€ข Professionals comfortable asking directly for the sale
โ€ข Individuals who protect and elevate the brand
โ€ข People who take ownership of their results
โ€ข Highly coachable professionals who want to improve

We are looking for driven performers โ€” not passive order-takers.

Compensation

$55,000 โ€“ $120,000+ per year

Top performers earn significantly more through consistent closing performance.

We reward results, discipline, and professionalism.

Application Note

This role is designed for professionals who take pride in performance.

If selected to interview, you will be asked about:

โ€ข Your personal close rate
โ€ข Your response time to inbound leads
โ€ข A specific example of when you asked directly for the business and won the deal

Candidates comfortable discussing their numbers tend to thrive here.

Application Instruction

To help us identify detail-oriented candidates, please include the phrase โ€œProcess creates performanceโ€ in your application.

Required Qualifications

โ€ข Prior sales experience (hospitality, events, real estate, or high-ticket sales preferred)
โ€ข Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
โ€ข Confidence presenting pricing and packages in person
โ€ข Comfortable working within a structured sales script and defined sales process
โ€ข Ability to learn and execute the sales script within the first week of training
โ€ข Comfortable using CRM systems and modern sales technology
โ€ข Comfortable using AI tools as part of sales communication and training
โ€ข Highly coachable and receptive to feedback
โ€ข Strong sense of personal ownership and accountability
โ€ข Ability to maintain a polished, professional, fashion-forward appearance
โ€ข Availability for evening and weekend tours
โ€ข Ability to use a personal cell phone for client communication
