Job Title: AI Program Manager
Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: Contract (12 months, with potential extension)
Pay Range: $85-90/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that support enterprise technology and operational programs. This role focuses on execution, alignment, visibility, and delivery across multiple teams. The Program Manager will act as the central owner of execution, ensuring work is prioritized, tracked, and successfully driven through release.
This is not a technical engineering role. AI is used as a productivity and visibility tool, not something the Program Manager builds or codes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own execution across multiple, concurrent initiatives spanning engineering, product, operations, and business teams
  • Track work that is:
    • In progress
    • Blocked
    • Completed but not yet released
  • Drive work through final delivery and release
  • Surface risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early and clearly
  • Provide consistent, executive-ready status updates to leadership
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give real-time visibility into program health
  • Use AI tools to support reporting, analysis, documentation, and execution visibility
  • Ensure teams are using Jira and related tools effectively and consistently
  • Facilitate program ceremonies, planning, and alignment meetings
  • Operate as a connector across teams, translating strategy into execution
AI Usage Expectations
AI is used to enhance efficiency and clarity, including:
  • Prompt-driven analysis and documentation
  • AI-assisted reporting and dashboards
  • Summarizing materials, notes, and execution artifacts

AI is leveraged as a tool, not the core deliverable.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Program or Project Management experience
  • Experience managing execution across multiple teams simultaneously
  • Strong reporting, dashboarding, and executive communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Jira (Smartsheet and Airtable are a plus)
  • Experience working in large, enterprise environments
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Comfortable working with Directors and VPs
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, similar)
  • Calm, organized, and effective in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
