Job description

Under the supervision of Program Management, utilizing shared experience, working agency-wide to meet the needs of REN members. By providing support and assistance on an individual basis to set and achieve short- and long-term goals working toward and maintaining their recovery. Responsible for ensuring all services are provided consistently with REN's philosophy and values.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures center advisement is conducted on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Provides support to members participating in center activities.
  • Maintains the minimum standard of 65% of worked hours in delivering services.
  • Maintains records to include required tracking and reporting.
  • Documents progress of each member served and submits billing timely utilizing the REN software program, meeting data validation expectations.
  • Works in partnership with program management to enhance programs, promote services, and increase membership.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clinic staff and leadership.
  • Meets program management directives and objectives through department strategic planning.
  • Participates in clinical staff meetings, trainings, all-staff meetings, and other activities as required.
  • Submits timely and accurate timecards, mileage, and reimbursement requests.
  • Completes administrative tasks which may include preparing documents, copying, faxing, and making/receiving REN-related telephone calls.
  • May be required to provide transportation to members on an as-needed basis.
  • Ensures advisement is conducted on a regular and ongoing basis in the various departments within REN, as required.
  • Ensures flexibility with schedule and willingness to accept assignments with little or no previous notice.
  • May be required to travel to other REN locations or offsite activities and programs.
  • Perform related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of the principles of behavioral health recovery and adherence to REN's philosophy.
  • Knowledge of state behavioral health individuals and agency licensure regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and address events/crises that may develop unexpectedly.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience and ability.
  • Type 40-45wpm
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, including both cargo and large passenger vans and other vehicles.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, and sound judgment in an ever-changing environment with multiple and competing priorities.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • A High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Completion of Peer Support Training and Peer Support Certification preferred.
  • Previous service delivery work experience in the behavioral health field.
  • A current Arizona Driver's License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.

15.50-18.00
