Job description

Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is seeking a Document Processing Specialist to support document management and processing operations for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE). This role is responsible for organizing, processing, tracking, and maintaining regulatory documents and correspondence within designated databases and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office and document processing software.


Key Responsibilities
  • Download, upload, scan, file, and organize regulatory documents and correspondence within designated databases and systems
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain documentation records as required
  • Coordinate the preparation and processing of incoming and outgoing regulatory documents and submissions
  • Assist with mailing, tracking, and maintaining records of correspondence and submissions
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems to support document retrieval and recordkeeping
  • Utilize Microsoft Office or similar software applications to complete administrative and document processing tasks
  • Operate scanning and printing programs and equipment to support documentation workflows
  • Perform additional administrative and documentation support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications
  • Experience with scanning, printing, and electronic filing systems
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
