Document Processing Associate
Onsite - Chesapeake, VA
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Pay: $15.00/hour, which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Document Processing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and sorting all mail and place into appropriate batch class. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorts, imaging, documents, files, and archives by form type
  • Receives documents from both electronic and hard copy forms for processing
  • Review and sort all mail and place into appropriate batch class
  • Assist in driving to post office to pick up mail, when/if required
  • Maintain Records Room based on document retention policy
  • Review documents and determine the correct department for processing
  • Receive, sort and process mail, packages and supplies as they arrive
  • Scanning and operating scanning machine to scan documents, ensuring it is legible for review
  • Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures

Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Some experience working in mail center
  • 1-2 years in a working environment
  • Required to lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • Ability to demonstrate basic PC/Internet skills
  • Computer skills: Introductory knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, TEAMS)
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail; Must translate information effectively and accurately

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,600 - $33,250.
